I recently entered The Red Tree a textured landscape in Saatchi's Showdown competition and came in 405 out of 5787 entries. Being in the top 10% in a world-wide competition which is peer judged is pretty good in my book, especially since there is not a bare breast or genital to be found in my painting. Anyway that gave me the impetus to do another textured landscape.
